Recombinant Noggin
Source The DNA sequence encoding the mature human Noggin (aa 28-232) was expressed in E. coli.
Molecular Mass The refolded recombinant human Noggin is a disulfide linked homodimer. Each 205 amino acid residue monomer has a calculated molecular mass of 23047.6 daltons. The extinction coefficient yields 1 OD = 0.57mg/mL at 280 nm.
Purity Sample purity is >95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Endotoxin Level Endotoxin level is <1.0 EU/µg of sample as determined by LAL method.
Formulation Sample is in solution of 0.2µm filtered 50mM Sodium Citrate, 0.15M NaCl, 1mM Mg Acetate, 20% Glycerol, 0.02% CHAPS, pH 6.8 at 1.0mg/ml.

Storage
Centrifuge vial prior to opening. Thaw stock solution on ice. Aliquot this stock solution into manageable amounts and freeze samples at -80C. Conservatively, frozen samples can be stored up to six months.
Working Solution Thaw the stock solution vial on ice and dilute to working concentration. Store at +4C up to one month.
